Polycystic Kidney Disease

Autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD) is the most common inherited renal disorder worldwide, is characterized by renal cysts and progressive decline in kidney function, leading to kidney failure and need for dialysis and transplantation. Dr. Pandeya has co-authored the Canadian Consensus on assessing risk of disease progression and management of ADPKD and provides this expertise in managing patients with polycystic kidney disease.
